Commissions and Reports
The Marketing and Promotion Commission Report. March 2004 AE. Karakaya, MH Karol, K. Rydzynski The Marketing and
Promotion Commission was founded following the Brisbane meeting in
2001. Since then, in cooperation with AIM organized
the booths
at SOT (Salt Lake City and Baltimore), EUROTOX (Budapest and Florence)
and the CTDC meeting in Guilin; has prepared a brochure and has developed
the design of the IUTOX logo. However, nothing could be done in terms
of marketing. It may also be pointed out that similar international scientific unions such as IUPAC, IUPHAR, SOT, EUROTOX have no marketing and promotion commissions. In the light of the facts mentioned above the structure and function of this commission (including abolishment and assignment of the promotion function to the Communication Commission ) for the next term should be discussed.
