Report from the Membership and Society Development Committee at the IUTOX EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING, Salt Lake City, UT, USA, March 9, 2003

All over the world, 44 scientific societies related to toxicology are now Membership Societies of the IUTOX. At present, four Societies listed below have been preparing to be the Member Societies.
The Membership Committee is trying to increase the number of the member societies by recruiting the toxicological societies considering application for IUTOX Membership. Also, one of the possible roles of the Membership Committee is to encourage the toxicologists who are considering establishment of new toxicological societies in their countries.
