Scientific Programs

IUTOX has official status as a non-governmental organization (NGO) affiliated with World Health Organizations. It therefore works closely with the WHO’s International Program of Chemical Safety in training toxicologists and establishing capability in toxicology on a world-wide basis. What’s more, as a member of the International Council of Science (ICSU), the premier international body that represents all scientific activities, IUTOX advances interests of toxicology as a profession everywhere.
